Lobster Paradise Punta Mita was another higher end and pricey restaurant we visited in Punta Mita. The location on the beach was incredible but there weren’t many people there for a Saturday night which we took as an interesting sign.
Our drinks were good but not great. For the appitizers the guacamole was awesome (prepared right in front of you) but should have come with better chips like plantain chips and not those awful crackers in a package. The lobster carpaccio was unique with great citrus flavors.
I had the New York steak which for the price ($1300 pesos / $80 CAD) was terrible. It was at least half fat and not juicy or flavorful at all. The side was also quite small for the price tag on this one.
GLs shrimp were awesome and uniquely presented in the shells. He had the same sad rice and vegetable side so they could definitely improve on this.
For the price, we wouldn’t go back to Lobster Paradise Punta Mita again. It seems to be aimed at naive tourists looking for fresh fish and there are better restaurants (and fish) to be had in Punta Mita.
