We visited Punta Mita twice and each time El Cafecito de Mita Punta Mita was first on our list to visit for a healthy breakfast or lunch.
We’ve tried a bunch of items on the menu and my favorites are the acai bowl (add bananas and peanut butter), the chopped quinoa salad with turkey, and the la pagoda smoothie. We tried two other smoothies (chocolate/almond and strawberry/orange) but they were watery and not creamy or filling. The peanut butter la pagoda was by and far the best and only one I would get again.
We also tried the burritos which I triple checked to ensure was on a corn tortilla and not flour which I was assured of. But we are almost certain it was flour despite what I was told as I did not feel very well after. So steer clear of the burrito if you can’t have gluten (even if they tell you it’s corn!).
Such a fun vibe and the coffee is supposed to be amazing as well. There was also a dog here which we nicknamed Spot and saw many other times throughout Punta Mita. We assumed he was a stray but he was very well behaved and loved going for walks with us. So cute!
Definitely check out El Cafecito de Mita Punta Mita if you’re in the area and looking for a great coffee or healthy meal!
