For a special dinner we headed to Cafe Des Artistes in Puerto Vallarta which we had read great things about. 

Everything about this restaurant is incredible. There is a live violinist and pianist playing while you eat (and they even take requests!). The cocktails were balanced and unique. There is an incredible outdoor patio that looks like something out of a movie.

We had the tasting dinner and between the two of us, we basically tried everything on the tasting menu. They were great about accommodating gluten and dairy free where they could. Stand out dishes for us were the marinated octopus, tomato and pineapple salad with shrimp, and the short ribs. But honestly every dish was unique and incredible and we appreciated getting to try a little of everything. 

Don’t miss Cafe Des Artistes Puerto Vallarta if you are ever in PVR and taste the menu for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
